The ROLEX Prince first introduced in 1928, and in production up until 1952.

This informative Rolex advert for the Prince dates from the late 1920s early 1930s and gives in a very 1930s style, an interesting list of technical reasons as to why the Prince was one of the most accurate and reliable watches of that period.

In addition to the very high grade movement, the Prince watch cases were made to a very high standard and many of the Prince dials were made of solid silver.

They were engraved with the numerals, minute and seconds tracks, the engraved areas of the dials then flooded with enamel and fired in a kiln to produce not only a very high quality dial but a distinctive and permanent image.

For many collectors, the beautiful Vintage Rolex Prince represents one of the most sought after models, not only for its magnificent, innovative and high grade movement but that it comes from a truly golden age of wristwatch design.
