A beautiful classic, gentleman's mid-size Vintage Oyster, Centre sweep seconds "Speedking", with a most attractive and very rare engine turned Checkered dial . C.1942.

The classic Oyster Case in superb condition with Rolex case serial numbering for the year 1942. Signed; Rolex S.A. (RWC Ltd.) Brevetee Geneve- Suisse 31 Victories Haute Precision Model ref # 4270. With the original Oyster domed top, Screw-down button in excellent and original condition, signed ; "Oyster Patent".

The high grade lever movement in excellent condition, signed; "Rolex Precision Swiss Made 17 Rubies Patented Superbalance".

The rare engine turned Checkered dial in excellent and totally original condition with raised gilt dart indexes signed; "Rolex Oyster Speedking Precision Swiss".

The Gold Dauphine hands totally original and in superb condition as is the blued steel centre sweep seconds hand.

The original screw-down Oyster domed top winding button,

in superb crisp and fine condition, signed : "Rolex Oyster".
