A most rare and extremely elegant gentleman's Vintage Rolex "Shock Resisting" Wristwatch in Steel C.1950.
The round case quite stunning in appearance, in superb condition, with the most unusual and scarce, sculpted "Horn" lugs. Struck inside with the Rolex model reference number 4542, signed "Rolex Geneve Suisse".
The beautiful dial, expertly and sympathetically restored to the original finish, with dagger and diamond shaped indexes, together with an Arabic twelve. Single minute and seconds track with a subsidiary seconds dial. Beautiful Gold "Leaf" hands.
The high grade lever movement signed "Rolex Swiss Made 15 Rubies", in excellent condition.
This superb vintage timepiece on a new, black Crocodile strap.
The magnificent sculpted "horn" lugs are of a most handsome and unique design, as the classic round case appears to be suspended within their grasp.
