A most beautiful Gentleman's classic Open Face 14ct Rose Gold Pocket Watch, by the International Watch Co., of the very highest grade and quality, C.1912.
The white enamel dial signed : "International Watch Co.Schaffhausen", in perfect condition with Arabic numerals and sunken subsidiary seconds dial. The original Spade hands are in Gold.
The classic plain case in 14ct. Pink Gold of heavy and robust construction, as only produced by the very best Swiss manufacturers. Struck with the IWC logo"Probus Scafusia", Swiss control marks for 14ct. Gold and numbered 634785.
The magnificent Swiss gilt lever Chronometer grade "Extra Quality" movement in pristine condition, pin setting to the hands, Jewelled to the centre with screwed Chatons and micrometer adjustment to the regulator. Struck with the IWC logo "Probus Scafusia".
The cuvette signed: "Qualite Extra International Watch Co. Schaffhausen"
Top quality Pocket Watches of this period from IWC are most scarce, but such "Qualite Extra" high grade timepieces are very, very rare indeed.
