A fine pair of elegant French gilt metal Opera Glasses, with extending telescopic handle, C.1890.

The handle and binocular tubes engine turned and "Baisse-taille" enamelled in a beautiful transparent butterscotch enamel.

The eye pieces, handle finale and knelled focusing ring in Mother of Pearl.

The high grade optics are fully operational as are the focusing and telescopic handle.

In all, a charming and most attractive pair of antique Opera Glasses in excellent condition.
