An extremely rare and most handsome high grade Gentleman's Vintage Omega Wristwatch in 14ct Yellow Gold, C.1940.

The superb, plain round case of an exceptionally large diameter, 35mm, (the subsidiary seconds dial also of an unusually large diameter, 8mm), with rounded case band and classic straight "shoulder" lugs, all in excellent condition, signed inside the case back with the "Omega" logo and with Swiss control marks.

The most attractive, original silvered dial signed "Omega" with classic Deco style Arabic numerals and raised gilt dot indexes.

Beautiful Leaf Hands in Gold combine with the dial to give a most stylish Deco appearance. There is some minor spotting to the dial, however, this does not detract from the beautiful appearance of this stunning vintage timepiece.

The pink gilt Jewelled lever movement in excellent condition, signed; "Omega Swiss Made".
