A very rare and quite superb example of an Omega vintage "Seamaster 30", Cal ; 284, Gentleman's manually wound waterproof wristwatch in steel, C.1958.

With centre sweep seconds and the most distinctive, handsome, high visibility, original mat black oxidised "Ranchero" style sports dial.

This attractive combination of a "Seamaster" with "Ranchero"style dial was produced for a very short period of time and fine examples are now very seldom seen.

The large, ( 35mm diameter ) highly robust case is in excellent condition with classic canted lugs, polished beveled bezel and waterproof Omega winding button. The waterproof screw-on case back with the famous Omega "Seamaster" Seahorse logo.
