A traditional, classic High grade Gentleman's 18ct. Gold, Half Hunting cased Pocket Watch by Longines, made throughout to the very highest Swiss quality. C.1919.

The white enamelled dial signed with the retailers name "Jays 142/144 Oxford Street London W" . and "Swiss Made".

The Lever movement of the very highest grade, signed "B & Co." 18 Jewels, Adjusted - Swiss Made # 32545. A micrometer Swan Neck regulator with "snail" type cam, fully jewelled to the centre wheel with a screwed chaton.

The case in excellent condition, signed "Longines" on the cuvette with a beautiful blue enamel chapter ring to the top cover, and with London import marks for the year 1919. Case # 3254575 with case makers mark "AB".

The beautiful white enamel dial in perfect condition, with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, signed with the retailers name "Jays 142/144 Oxford Street London W" . and "Swiss Made".

Blued Steel "Spade" hands set by a pull out lever in the bezel at four o'clock.

At a time before highly recognized name branding and mass media marketing, ones Jeweler was considered the arbiter and guide to quality and excellence when deciding on the purchase of a fine pocket watch. Hence the use of the retailers name on many watch dials of this period, rather than that of the Swiss manufacturer we normally see today.
