A fine and rare, Gentleman`s vintage Cartier 18ct. yellow Gold, slim dress watch, C.1925.
The classic original champagne dial signed "Cartier" in superb condition, with original black Roman numerals and blued steel moon hands.
The keyless, high grade movement with beautiful Geneva stripes, signed "European Watch and Clock Co. 19 jewels, 8 ADJ Swiss".
The most elegantly designed slim case, stamped with Cartier production number `5813` and bearing Continental gold control marks for 18ct. Gold. A wonderful early deco case design with broad plain bezel, a triangular bow and cylindrical winder.
The plain and very slightly convex case back with a black enamelled crest and motto, Caritas fructum habet - "Charity bears fruit".
This wonderful Cartier vintage timepiece contained within its original suede lined and leather covered Cartier box.
