A most beautiful and elegant Diamond and Sapphire Edwardian Bow Brooch,C.1910,
of the very finest quality in 18ct. White Gold.
The bows strong symbolism of a love knot, tied between two lovers, together forever
was a very poignant and popular design
from the Georgian period right through to the Edwardian period, its lovely sentimental message remaining to this day.
The quality of the fine Diamonds and wonderful Sapphires are superb,
as too is the beautifully fine milgrain setting.
The Brooch measuring a substantial and impressive 7.2cm x 2.6cm
with an approximate total Diamond weight of 5.00cts.
