A beautiful and most charming, Diamond & Sapphire antique Bar Brooch, C.1870 in 18ct. Rose Gold, the condition of which is quite superb.

The ribbon entwined form, set with fine old cut Diamonds and fabulous high grade Cornflower Blue Sapphires.

As in many pieces of Victorian jewellery, this brooch is highly sentimental in its design, symbolic of love and affection.

The intertwining of the ribbon, symbolizing the bonding and togetherness of the recipient and giver.
